Sexual wellness went from hush-hush to an openly discussed focus around 2015. That was the year when several technologies and devices caught the attention of physicians due to their promising ability to improve intimate wellness.

According to the Cleveland Clinic, about 43% of women and nearly one-third of men report some degree of sexual dysfunction.

Boston University School of Medicine published an article suggesting that about one in ten men, ages 40 to 70, have severe or complete erectile dysfunction, while 25% of men in this age group have moderate or intermittent erectile difficulties

Researchers reported that popular procedures known today as G-shot, O-shot, P-shot are promising for treating symptoms of sexual dysfunction.

The O-Shot uses platelet-rich plasma to rejuvenate the tissue. The O-Shot is autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP) placed in female genital tissues, such as the anterior compartment, mid urethra, vestibule and the clitoral region, including the clitoris.

The P-Shot, uses PRP injections into the penis to treat erectile dysfunction. The treatment helps improve vascularization and collagen. It seems that about 20% of men will notice also an increase in length and girth.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and

Sexual Rejuvenation for Men and Women

It is common for people to talk about their health issues. But it is rare for people to discuss their sexual wellness. Studies have shown that many men and women are concerned about some aspect of their sexual health.

Which sexual problems can PRP treat?

Men – sexual dysfunction; such as erectile dysfunction, and small or abnormal shaped penises. Results may also include: improved libido; increased erection quality; heightened sexual pleasure; increased sexual stamina; increased penile girth and length; improved blood flow and circulation.

Women – anorgasmia (the inability to achieve climax or orgasm), lack of interest in sex, poor vaginal lubrication, dyspareunia (pain during sexual intercourse), and urinary incontinence.

Results may also include: improved libido; more pleasurable and frequent orgasms; improved natural lubrication; decreased pain during intercourse.
